Problem with Macropod's "Combine Multiple Word Documents"
Macropod's "Combine Multiple Word Documents" is indeed a precious macro for anyone needing to combine muliple documents. With some (slight) modifications it works very well also for combining HTML files. But I'm having trouble with it in this situation: the files to be combined appear in alphabetical order, but on the disc the order is different, so that in the "Combined" file the appropriate order is lost. I wonder if anyone might have some idea as to how to resolve this problem. Thanks!

Thank you, Charles! I did try even that, but it didn't work. I checked the disc and there they were: 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07 (but the order was still different: 01, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 02). The only explanation in my case seems to be that 02 was added to the folder later than the others. So I tried to copy each file to another dir in the correct order, but to no avail. Nr 02 is very large, the largest of them all.

You may want to put developing this aside and use Boiler - Insert a selection of documents by Graham Mayor, MVP.

Thank you, Charles. I do appreciate your reply and I think that Mayor's Boiler can be really useful, but what I need is macro, however complex. So I will carry on my experiments.
