![]() I've seen this question around a lot but not seeing many straight answers on maybe how to do it or other avenues to reach a similar conclusion. I am creating a form template with word and I plan to have the template on coworkers computer so that an an incident occurs, the template appears blank and is ready to be filled with the information related to the incident that is being reported. But here is my problem: Based on a selection from a dropdown list, I need certain questions with respective content controls to appear. This would be a list or group of multiple questions and content controls for that specify incident chosen. I am seeing that once a content control is within the codes of a form field, its virtually useless. I can have created a previous form that once the selection from a dropdown list was made, a table would appear with the questions and the content controls related, however, only text form field content controls would work but not check boxes. If I changed the editable settings in 'restrict editing', the check boxes would work but the text form field controls would not. So if there is no way around that, what else can be done to have a word template that is user friendly? I attached a copy of the old form that I created to be used as reference for what I am needing. Please HELP! |
