Default The "Security center" settings ???

Anyone here having problems getting these settings correct ?

It's not for normal people to fidure out how these settings should be NOT to block macros

Macros in the Normal.dotm runs OK but if you copy this file to another file and use that as a template ... macros is blocked !

Explane that ... please ?

I wonder why no one at all have any comments !

Is it because I'm the only one in the whole wide world with the problem ?

OR

is it because you all have given in figuring out these settings

A COPY of the Normal.dotm blocks macros if it's used as template for a Word-document created via VBA !

If I just 2-click the COPY of the Normal.dotm it works as supposed to !

Com on now - tell me what I do wrong !

What is the problem?

Microsoft blocks macros from running if the are contained in a file you download or receive via email. You have to unblock by selecting the file in Windows Explorer, right clicking, click Properties, Security and unblock.

Word, by default disables are macros with notification. You can change that behavior in File>Options>Trust Center>Trust Center Settings>Macro settings. I wouldn't advise changing it.

You can avoid the notification by making the file a trusted file or making the file folder a trusted folder.
