Implemening Word macros on a network?
Are there any guides or other info as to how I can implement the macros I just wrote (thanks to all here who helped me, by the way) on a network?
Specifically, I could have as many as 11 people running the same macros. I'd like to be able to put the macros in one location on the network and have everyone using the same macros. This way, when I make an improvement/fix a bug, everyone gets the revised macro. Otherwise, I'd have to go to every computer. My search for "how to implement word visual basic macros on a network" using Duck Duck Go didn't return anything that was relevant. |

The macros should be saved in a template (.dotm) and that file is what gets shared to your workgroup users. You can make this template available to users either by setting their options to point their Workgroup Templates folder to a network location or by copying the template into their User Templates folder.
This might help you a bit... Distributing macros to other users
