Copying drop down menus
Is there a way to copy an entire drop-down menu from one Word document and paste it into another Word document? I've found how to select a single element from a drop-down menu, but not the entire menu.
Thanks. Edited to clarify that I am trying to do this specifically with a macro using VBA. The Dropdown command seemingly allows one item to be copied, but not the whole dropdown menu. Last edited by Risotto; 06-13-2022 at 11:09 AM. Reason: Clarity |

Yes. Select the menu and copy. Then paste.
Would you care to tell us more about the menu? There are multiple ways to create such menus. I am assuming you mean a menu that is in the document body. |

VBA can easily copy/paste and entire dropdown - or any other content - from one Word document to another. See, for example: https://www.msofficeforums.com/word-...documents.html.
Of course, you would need to specify both the source and target ranges correctly, but you haven't given us any indication of what those are.
