What you want can be achieved by using Building Block Content Controls instead of the drop-down lists.
To save a Building Block select the content that you want it to include. Go To Insert | Quick Parts | Save selection to Quick Part gallery. In the dialog that appears you will need to specify which gallery and category you want to use. You'll need to create your own categories. This is important as the Building Block Content Controls need to point to a specific gallery and category. You can use the same gallery for all your content, I would suggest using Custom 1. When a user creates a document from your template, they will see a drop-down list and the item they choose will be inserted into the document. |

Thanks, it works but it is not what I wanted. I wanted a drop down list that user is able to select if they wanted the section of the form to appear and the selected drop down item is still visible.
For eg, if user select "Pl indicate relevant experience", Section 1 will appear and wordings on the drop down list is still visible (i.e. the wordings "Pl indicate relevant experience" is the title of the section). Or if user select "Not in use", Section 2 will appear and wordings on the drop down list "Not In Use" is still there. I have attached the picture of these scenarios to help in my explanations. Any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot. |
