Acronym Macro - Ms Word comments

One thing I've recently noticed is that the macro in https://www.msofficeforums.com/word-...generator.html struggles and crashes Word if the document being checked contains comments. Is there any code that can be used to overcome this? If the comments are removed from the document, the macro runs as expected.
