I've created a Word macro that ran fine a couple of times, but now I'm getting the alert "The macro cannot be found or has been disabled because of your Macro security settings."
Enable all macros is selected in Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Macro Settings. In Visual Basic, I can step through the macro, and it works fine. I've tried the standard fixes like disabling add-ins and renaming Normal.dotm, but no joy. Starting Word in Safe mode didn't work, because I had no way to try to start the macro in that mode. I'm trying to start the macro from an icon on the Quick Access Toolbar. I have many other macros in the same macro file, and they start fine from the toolbar. The correct macro name does appear in the Developer > Code > Macros list. I'm using Word 2007 on a Win 10 machine that I've updated regularly. Has anyone else had the same problem and was able to fix it? |
