I would like to get a Macro to find specific text both in the body of a Word document and in the comments and highlight them in yellow and also make them bold. For example, I regularly use the phrase "Internal comment:". I need this highlighted to make it clear it is not for external use. The macros I have tried so far successfully change the text in the word document but do not do anything to the comments.

You need to wrap your working code inside a loop that processes each 'StoryRange' in the document. There are plenty of examples on this forum and you can do a wider search if this post doesn't help.
