Default I clicked "this document" in VBA thinking it was a menu button, it said "saving", how can I reverse

Just a brief question: I clicked "this document" in VBA thinking it was a menu button, and it said "saving", how can I reverse whatever it did? I noticed that the macros seemed to have disappeared from my global template

Clicking something like ThisDocument have much of an effect on anything and seeing a message that it is saving is not 'caused' by what you clicked.

Global templates macros are available to run but not viewable/editable unless you open the template directly.

As Andrew said, you have to actually have a global template open (or attached to an open document, which is unusual) to be able to edit the macros.

Here is more on use of Global templates.
