When I try to exit Word, a Word Error message window ["Project is unviewable"] appears, with an OK button, which does nothing at all. The only way I have found to exit the loop is by using taskkill on Word.
Also, despite my running Debug, Compile [template Mac05.dotm], and saving Mac05.dotm before exiting, when I start Word, Mac05 shows as not having been compiled. After I reopen Word and compile Mac05 again, the macros in the other templates in my startup group worked just fine. But, after I exit Word, the macros in another template in my startup group, Mac02.dotm, do not work until I open Mac05.dotm again and compile the VBA. Note: I do not get any error messages when I run Debug, compile in Mac05.dotm. Questions: 1. What steps should I take to address the problem? 2. Can you refer me to any reference pages or tutorials to learn more about what are the likely causes of the problem. 3. I don't think you you have the time to actually look at my templates from the startup group; but if you would like me to upload them, I would be pleased to do so. Thank you for any help you can give me. Your time and the help you folks give us's is very very much appreciated. Marc |
