Locking styles in Word using VBA to restrict new styles
Hi,
I am new to using VBA, please forgive my ignorance. I am looking for help with adding VBA to my proposal template to restrict writers from adding random styles that destroys the original styles and formatting becomes a complex-time consuming task, which gets unaffordable at times. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks, Reena |

I suspect your proposal template would be fairly rigid in layout and would vary in relatively small ways that require user changes. You may be able to achieve and exceed the control that you require by using content controls for the variable parts of the text and protect the rest against meddling.
You may find Insert Content Control Add-In useful in this endeavour.
