Format multiple documents from template document
I'm wondering if there is already a macro that exists that does this..
I need to format multiple documents to become the same style as a template document. For example, I have an inventory of documents. Not all of them apply to each project. They are already written and the only editing they require per project is to change the format and style (header, footer, font, etc.). If I receive a template document from someone with their header, footer, and font can I batch format my documents to be the same style? Thank you! |

I suspect you're referring to the document's format, not it's 'style'. In Word, Styles apply to paragraphs and/or characters, not to page layouts and the like. What is possible depends on what you're working with. To answer that, you really need to supply representative samples of the 'template document' (another term you're misusing - Word has templates and documents, which are quite different things, but not template documents) and before/after examples of your existing documents.
You can attach documents to a post (delete anything sensitive) via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.
