How Are MS Word Macros Stored & Shared?
Hello!
I am new to Word VBA Macros but I have a little experience in different programming languages in the past such as Python. I have found ways to use the record macros feature in MS Word to achieve quick formatting to a file such as adding a footer with a path/file name. My issue is I do not know where/how these recorded macros are stored. After I make one, and get it to run, it seems to be gone the next day or sometimes even just if I open another word document. My goal is to create recorded macros that can then be put on our work server so everyone automatically has access to them at all times (without having to import them every day, etc). Any tips, YouTube Video toutorials, or articles you can point me towards would be greatly appreciated. Please be aware, I am very new to Macro technology. TIA <3 |
