Default How to learn VBA?

Hello. I am new to this forum, but I am impressed so far.

I want to start using VBA, initially for Word. I have seen some useful threads in this forum, but the programming language is still confusing. The last time I programmed was with BASIC in the ‘80s. Since then, I have used Lotus123, Quattro, and now Excel. I have absolutely no experience with visual basic or VBA. I am looking at buying the book “VBA for Dummies”, to give me a leg up into using VBA. Is there a better, or easier, book for a beginner? Alternatively, what is the best way to learn VBA?
