Default Remove new macros menu item

Hoping experts here have seen this menu item in VB Editor in Office? I was having a problem with a macro crashing Word every time I tried to edit or delete a macro in VB. I noticed in VB Editor, a menu was shown dropped open, with an item 'Remove New Macros'. I had tried everything so thought I'd click on that to see what prompts I would get, hopefully to remove that buggy macro. Instead, all of my macros were removed, without a prompt. I can't find them now. I can't even find any evidence that there is such a menu item, 'Remove New Macros', though this is certainly what saw.

Anyone can suggest how to undo 'remove new macros' or how to recover my macros?

New Macros is a vba module that holds recorded macros.
If this was in your normal.dotm file, look for the backup file.

With Word closed...

Rename your current normal.dotm file. Then rename the Backup of Normal.wbk file to normal.dotm.
