I would like to have the option selected from a drop down list repeated in a document.



There are many posts on using quickparts, however this does not work.

Kindly advise.

If you dropdown is a mapped content control dropdown list and you include like titled plaintext controls mapped to the same data node, those plain text CC will reflect the value selected in the dropdown. You can use the CC Mapping Tools add-in from my website to map the controls.
