Default Form Not Found Error

Hello,

I have a form in Word that has run pretty well up until now. I am in the clean up stages getting rid of code and buttons that are not needed. I am being very careful to only delete entire blocks of code, not leaving any orphaned remnants.

After deleting the code for a command button on form, I get an error "Form Object not Found" error when running the form. I have not changed the name of the form or any of it's properties.

I ran the form on another computer just to rule out the possibility of corrupt system files. Below is a screenshot of the error. Any ideas? Thanks

Looks like it should work so these are only guesses to resolve.
Do you get an error when you compile?
Try moving the macro into a regular module.
Rename the form and change the code to match the new name

Default Source of Error Found

I discovered the source of my error. When I deleted the txt9 control (textbox) I neglected to change the count of a For loop from 9 to 8 so a function call was being made on an non-existent object.

As I am new to programming, I am learning the hard way that the error message generated, in this case "Form Object not Found" is often not really the problem at all. It is an error message that was passed "downstream" by another error.
