Convert/link superscript numbers to footnotes
I scanned a couple of thousand pages for my mentor. After running OCR and applying corrections, I have the text saved in .docx. The footnotes appear as superscript numbers (neatly and consistently; no brackets, periods, etc.). However, these footnotes are not properly linked in Microsoft Word. As a result, when I attempt to import to ePub software, it doesn’t recognize it as a footnote/endnote.
I would be most grateful if anyone can suggest a macro to convert or link all superscript numbers to footnotes/endnotes. |

Typically footnotes and endnotes have two parts: the number and corresponding number and text just above the footer. The question is where is your second part - the text that goes with the number?
