Default Macro failing

I recently switched from Office 2010 to 365. The new version incorporated my Normal template and macros, but there is at least one that I cannot get to work in my stationery template (dotx), though I have never had any problem before, nor do I have any problem at work, where 365 is what we're served.

Initially thinking that the macros had not been copied to the letterhead template, I used the organizer to copy my Normal macros folder to my letterhead template, but now it is duplicated (please see screen shot, attached). I'm not sure which one to keep in the letterhead template.

As for the non-working macro, it's a recorded one that simply inserts the date right-aligned, removes the auto-updating content control to make it plain text, and returns to start the next paragraph at left. The shortcut [Ctrl+?] is not working in Normal-based documents or letterhead template or docs, though I recreated and assigned the shortcut, and my other macros seem to be working in both. Caps is not on. The macro works from Run in the dialogue box.

At one point, I got a pop-up telling me that I could not use macros in a document, but I have used macros in dotx templates for years.

Any ideas?
