How to licence a word doc
Hi,
How to sell and licence protect au word doc that includes a macro ? I plan to sell a word doc online. But I would like to include a licence. That buyers have a personal password to open the doc. Have you any ideas on how to do that ? Thanks |

What you're trying to do really isn't practical. Utilities to break MS Office passwords abound. Since it's a document, though, presumably it's just intended for reading, though the presence of a macro suggests it's a bit more than that, too. In that case, you might do better to use a PDF, which can also be automated and which you can lock down far more securely. PDFs also give you greater control over the final layout on different computers.
