Is there a macro to convert superscripted endnotes to active footnotes?
Hello,
I'm converting superscripted endnote numbers to active Word footnotes, and I'd like to use a macro to do it. A sample is attached; the actual doc is about 200 pages with about 900 endnotes. The Word doc (Office Pro Plus 2016) has superscripted endnote numbers (style=Endnote Reference), and numbered endnotes (style=Endnote Text) at the end of the doc. The endnote comma separators have their own style so that .find selects "1" from "1, 2, 3" and not "1, 2, 3" (style=Endnote Reference Comma). I appreciate the tips and techniques I have learned from this forum over the years. This is my first question - Thank you! |

Appreciate the referrals to
https://www.msofficeforums.com/word-...-endnotes.html and https://www.msofficeforums.com/word-vba/7544-macro-convert-text-endnote.html. My docs will never have a single endnote at the end of a single paragraph. The macro RelinkEndnotes() is sort of a superEditor in my case since it deletes all selected text. :-) |
