Default Switch between multiple Word documents within the same Word document

Hello,

Not sure if this is even possible but here goes...

Imagine I have three Word documents that are letters to be sent to employees.
They are similar documents.

Would it be possible to have just one Word document with all three different Word documents in the background so that I can switch between then using a drop down box which activates a macro?

Scenario:
I need to send Letter A to somebody but then realise that I actually need to send Letter B (or I send Letter A and then need to send Letter B too)

1. I open the one Word document, select Letter A from the drop down and Letter A appears
2. I replace the [name here]s with the relevant information
3. I then realise that I've done the wrong letter...
4. I just click the drop down at the top and select Letter B instead.
5. The document then shows Letter B instead of Letter A

A bonus would be that if the fields I filled out in Letter A remained when I switched to Letter B... So the names that I put in the [name here] parts stayed, but this isn't a huge deal

Is this, or some similar solution possible?
So that I don't have to open the huge template document, copy/paste the template into a new Word document

I hope this makes sense, apologies if it doesn't

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks,
Kai

Its perfectly possible but what do you mean by 'send'. Also, is there a reason why mail merge isn't suitable

You could use mail merge and if the appropriate attachments were named in the data you could add the correct attachment during the merge. See http://www.gmayor.com/ManyToOne.htm using its one to one mode.
