A Macro to break lines automatically after specific number of characters
Hello! I am wondering if there are any macro for MS Word that can break lines automatically after specific number of words on each linee (like 8 words) or at the specific length(e.g. at position 20 by MS Word ruler), so I don't need to press Enter all over the passage. I tried to use to indent features of MS Word. But that is going to change the length of each line only in the MS Word. When I copy the text to other software. The number of words/length of each line just doesn't change. It will be greatly appreciated if anyone can help! Thanks!! |

You don't need a macro for what you've described. You could do it with a fairly simple wildcard Find/Replace, where:
Find = [^1-^255]{50} Replace = ^&^l Simply change the 50 to whatever character count you want to use.
