Word Form Fields Dropdown
Hi, I've been searching on this forum for a few hours and can't seem to fix my issue. I'm trying to have a form auto populate with predetermined data based on 1 dropdown. I've been testing with just one form field text box and I keep getting a syntax error. I created a "Text Form Field" from the Legacy section and then typed in this: {={IF{REF Dropdown1 }= "DOG" WOOF}{IF{REF Dropdown1 }= "CAT" MEOW} The associated Dropdown has "Dropdown1" as the bookmark. When I hit tab after selecting in the dropdown it says : !Syntax Error, { Attached is the document.. Thanks. |

{ If { Ref DropDown1 } = "DOG" "WOOF""{ If { Ref Dropdown1 } = "CAT" "MEOW" } }
Your going to have to update your fields in some manner. |
