Default vba and saving to manage/worksite

Does anyone have experience with creating vba code to save and profile a document into an iManage worksite/workspace? I can do automatic "local" saving but need to save to our DM system. IT says that the object models I would need are not available to connect or "talk" with iManage and iManage will not release "API"s. I don't know what I need or if there is more than one way to accomplish what I need. The issue is we create maybe 10-15 documents in a short amount of time through a user form but it then takes forever to profile and save each new document to iManage. I can't believe it isn't possible - I have seen many with the same question online, but no one who found an answer. It would even be helpful to know options to ask my IT people (maybe they think I am asking for one thing but I really need something else). Thanks for any help.
