I'm planning to make use of this code in order to generate text automatically by first generating random character strings including spaces and then running the result through the Word spell checker, randomly accepting dictionary suggestions and splitting each "word" that comes up with 0 suggestions into two "words" until a suggestion is found for all "words" and there are no more spelling errors. The purpose is to generate poems, and so the question of "accuracy" doesn't apply. As a matter of fact, the more absurd and incoherent the result the better. Early manual experiments have been quite promising. Thanks to all contributors!
PS Well, you could argue that poetry is futile, I suppose... |

Hi all, resurrecting an oldie here, but in my case, I'd like to run the Spell and Grammar checks so I can report the Grammar results to the user so he can see if he needs to rework passive/active voice or improve readability in some other way.
My current stats are not correct and the interweb reports that its because my grammar check is dated. Therefore, to provide accurate grammar stats, I'd like to run the grammar check without user intervention. Is there any way to do this? Thx |

As I explained in post #7, there's no way to automate grammar corrections in Word.
