Default Activating a userform

I wish to know the best way for others (who wont have a "Developer" tab in Word) to to show a userform.

So far I have a userform that opens when a document opens. After closing this userform I can re-open it though a commandbutton. But this commandbutton prints when the document prints. I have found some vba code that can print the document without the commandbutton showing but this means printing via vba which I don't want to do (to make it easier for others).

Thanks Sandy

Easiest way is to put a button in the QAT. Instructions are here https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...d-0b058a0ef3e7

Thanks Andrew. Will the new button in the QAT be available to others on their own computer?

Yes it will IF you pay attention to where the customisation is stored.

The second point of Pam's answer was "-On the right side of the screen under Customize the Quick Access Toolbar, choose For [YourFileName.dotm]."

This is very important. This ensures the button is part of the template where your macro is stored. If you put the button customisation into 'for all documents', then the button is saved in your Normal.dotm template which is not (or at least shouldn't be) distributed to the other users.

Somewhat less simple, but rather more elegant, is to add the button to the ribbon of your template http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/word_tip_p...bbon_main.html
