Hi Folks, me again. I want to create a macro in Word that will search a document and change all of the hidden characters (that are, at this point, unhidden), and change their font color. Can you point me to some code that will hel?
Thanks, Robert |

Switch on the macro recorder and record using Find/Replace to do that. The code thus produced is nearly as efficient as hand-written code.

Thanks Paul, I did think of that. I thought maybe there was a way to get around coding to find and replace paragraph marks, then spaces, then tabs, etc. If not, that's cool, I can set up a macro from recorder.

All of that really comes down to what you specify for your Find/Replace. Besides which, it would have been a waste of anyone else's time writing a macro based on your initial specifications only to now find that what you really want is somewhat different.
