This is the form I'm working with. EC (2).doc
It already has a macro in it that adds new rows to the bottom table as needed. When it becomes extended into the second page, I need the EC-#### form field at the top right to be transferred to the second page, complete with any user input copied over as well. Word wouldn't let me just put it in the header so I'm back to the VBA forum again.

The approach I'd suggest is that you turn the entire form into a single table (with cells/rows bordered or not, as appropriate) and apply the table 'Header Rows' property to the rows you want to repeat on each new page. No code required and much less error-prone (e.g. users modifying the 'header' data on one page but not all pages).

I tried playing around with your suggestion. The problem is that I need the header from the bottom table to be included with the EC #, which is near the top of the document. So I'm asking Word to make one table header by looking at two different locations in the document, which doesn't seem to be possible.

So now I'm thinking that the only way to make this work is by adding a cell that repeats the EC# again, and including that cell in my header row. Would you say that is the only solution? Do I need a macro for that?

I got it. I referenced it into the bottom table. I'm learning so much! Thanks for your help. Feel free to mark it solved
