I have an interesting problem.

My boss would like to have a dynamic filename and path associated with certain documents that are stored on a public server.

Every time the filename or location of the file has changed, the filename and path in the header will change also.

I have found the code for the macro to do this here:

There might be different people moving these documents around.

It seems when I enable this macro, it works from my Word application, but not if someone else moves or renames the Word file.



Is there a way to enable this feature so no matter who is changing the filename or moving the document, the filename and path will change?
