Default Word Macro to update the layout of document

Guys;

can you help me develop macro to perform the following task: I have a document "template" that contains one table, used to be filled with text and values. I create several copies of this document "template", and what I want is develope a macro to update the layout of table of these copies acording to the document "template" without changing the table text content.

Can you help me?

Regards

Without knowing precisely what changes need to be made - down to the point for placement - for each cell in your table, no one could possible write such a macro. As for your document "template", why are you not using a true template?

If you use table styles, you can apply a different table style to the table to change its colours, borders, alignment etc. without changing the 'content'. But as Macropod says, you need to provide more detailed information before a macro can be developed.

Hello guys;
Sorry if i didn’t was more precisely in explanation of my problema.
At this time i will be more focus in explanation of my problema and i will post to documents to be more easy explain it.
The document font is document model, which is one of my stationary print template.
i insert in document the image of the template and create a grid to restrict the fields of the template.

To save time i create several copies of this document with differrent cells countent, in order to print the specific document when i need, so i just open the copie change the date and print.

Sometimes the typography which provide the template change the setup/layout, probably is the alignment of print machine, because the document still the same according to them. When it happens I need update several times the layout of the grid document because when I print the document the fields aren´t in correct place.

My intention is creat a macro to update the layout of copies of the font document “model” which i intente made the reference document, and when i open the copy which is outdate i run the macro and it preform the update of the copy layout acording to the font document whitout change the content of the table instead of made one by one the update the layout of document.

File Type: doc Modelo.doc (80.5 KB, 8 views)
File Type: doc Copie of Model.doc (86.0 KB, 10 views)

There is very little difference between two documents you posted; just a single row's height differs and the alignment in on cell has changed. That still doesn't tell us anything about the rules that could be coded into a macro to make whatever changes are needed.
