Restarting numbered lists in each Heading section with VBA

I have some Word 2010 documents that are automatically generated from Robohelp. The documents have different subsections at different Heading levels, and most sections include numbered lists using the same style: List Number. The numbering is continued from the previous section in each subsequent section instead of restarting at 1. As there are many sections that would need to be manually reset each time the documents are generated, it would be incredibly helpful to have this automated. Is there a way to do this with VBA?
