Add macro to word template and not lose auto text
I am trying to add a macro to my template. But every time I do I lose the auto text I have set up. I’ve tried creating a new template and saving over the original.
Any suggestions on how I can do this? |

Open the template for editing. Add the macro code to a new module in the template's VBA project. Save and close the template. It should not affect your autotext entries. However creating a new template and saving it over the original will certainly overwrite any autotext entries stored in that original template.
