Hey guys,
In the fall last year I purchased Word for Mac 2016. Two days later I asked for and received a refund because the custom toolbars were completely missing. As a genealogist these toolbars are critical to manage all of the different macros used in templates. My question is for those who possess VBA skills over my head is this: is it possible to replicate the toolbars with VBA? The Mac community is not happy with Word Mac 2016, and it does not seem that MS is listening to the complaints- |

There are no tools to customize the Ribbon that run on the Mac platform, though the Mac Ribbon can be customized via code run on a PC. See:

Thanks Paul,
If memory serves correct the organizer in 2016 had a place for the toolbars like 2011 but nothing was there. Until they put the toolbars back in, I"m sticking with 2011. |
