Hello,



I create a Word mail merge daily, save all the letters together as PDF. Then I open Adobe and split the individual letters from there. I then have to re-name them individually by a specific number I use from the mail merge spreadsheet.

Is there a Macro that would save the word document individually as a word document with the specific number from the mail merge spreadsheet? I can covert from the Word doc to Pdf quite easily.

I've searched on the web, but all the codes I found don't quite do what I would like.

Did it occur to you to look in the Mailmerge Tips and Tricks 'Sticky' thread at the top of the Mailmerge forum? See:

The same code (under the Send Mailmerge Output to Individual Files heading) has been posted on multiple forums and will let you specify any field in your data source for use in the output filename.

As for your comment that "the codes I found don't quite do what I would like", that doesn't really tell anyone what the code you've found doesn't do that you want it to...
