OK - I'm a developer, but not VB, nor experienced in Word Macros - will probably be easy for you all..
I need a simple prompt to show up when a user clicks "File - Print" or CTRL-P in Word 2010 or Word 2013 (Win 7 64bit). Specifically, by policy I have to have 2 sided print as the default on my print server, but users are griping that they are wasting paper because some print jobs must be 1 sided and they forget to change it. So to make both sides happy I'm just wanting a dialogue notification to be "Reminder - 2 sided print is default - change if necessary" or something like that, whenever they go to print. a sub-question is can it be done on a normal .docx file, or must it be a .dotm? Thanks!! |
