Delete Text when selected.
Hi everyone,
Im working on a protected document, so it have few parts that can be edited, those parts are merely instructions for the users who fill the documents. What im trying to do is add a macro to the document, so when the user click over that instruction text, it gets automatically deleted so the user don't lose time deleting that text and changing the color of the font (since the instruction text is generally red, the users have to change the font after deleting) Anyone can tell me how to do this or send me to link with this kind of information? Thanks in advance. |

If you delete the instruction text, there's no font left to change colour...
In any event, Word doesn't have an event to trap to tell it that you've clicked on something. What you could do is to add the instructions to a formfield or content control (depending on what you're using), with an 'on entry' macro that toggles the content's display.
