Default Continuously runing a macro

Hello people,




I create a macro do to some task in word, but in order to execute it must press a buton everytime i want it to work, is it any way to automatize this?

I dont know if im not running it in a correct way, but i need it to constantly runs to update some fields.

Without knowing what kind of document & fields, it's impossible to say how this might best be automated. You certainly wouldn't want the macro to run continuously - Word would be unusable if it did...

Hi Paul, sorry for not explaining my self clear enough, ill include in this post a document explaining what im trying to do.

The document i include must end being protected and only the bookmarked values in the first table can be changed, so only those spots will have exlusions.

If you use legacy fields instead of content controls, you don't need macros (see attached). The fields will update as you tab through the dropdowns.

Yes, thats exactly what i was trying to do thanks alot for answer both of my threads, i was trying to make this work for some days already.

I visited your site several times and i find it greatly useful, from the last weeks i have been learning from you and Paul and i greatly apreciate your help, you guys are amazing
