If you're referring to a macro for doing something with such words, it's whatever name you give it...

My guess is that OP is hoping to generate a helpful list (including target page numbers) of word not recognised by the spell-checker – and looking for a way to code IF {word not in dictionary} THEN …

I think I came across an option halfway like it in aspell, which got as far as returning a list of misspelt words.

Obtaining a list of potential spelling errors is fairly straightforward, though there are two types to deal with - those for which Word has a suggested replacement and those for which it doesn't. Until the OP clarifies the requirement, though, I'm not going to invest the effort coding, only to find I've wasted my time.

Thanks for your reply.
Actually it is for both types, featured in one list with page numbers.
Duplicates can then easily be removed.
Can it be done?

Regards,
Jay

Is this related to your other thread on Indexing? If so, this approach is unlikely to produce the results you want, since many place names are recognised by the spell-check dictionary.

Instead of running multiple threads on what seem to be closely-related issues, perhaps you could use only a separate thread for distinctly different issues and explain in each one what you're trying to achieve, rather than just how you're trying to do whatever unspecified thing that is.
