Default Interaction between a Word VBA to a website database

Normally I use a web form for the user to submit some data to my website. I am wondering if I can use a Word user form for the user to enter data (text) directly from a Word document, and send to the mysql database on my website? Can anyone advise? Thanks.

Yes you can but the trick is how the user will get your Word document and whether they will allow macros to run.

Default Thank you.

The users are all internal ones. I create and distribute macros on their machines. I currently use a web form for them to submit some information from the Word document they are working on. I just would like to know if there is any way that I can create a Word user form for them to directly enter data in their Word document and submit. By this way, it would be much easier to have the fields, such as the filename of the Word document they are working on and their user names, populated. And it is more intuitive for them to submit data in Word. Thanks.
