Word 2010
I have users who must stay on Windows XP for the time being related to another program they use. I now have a .dotm file that I make available by putting in the users(wtuser) folder... xp users 'C:\Documents and Settings\' + wtuser + '\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\Startup' windows 7 or newer.... 'C:\Users\' + wtuser + '\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\Startup' Is there a place I can put the .dotm file and it would be available to all Word users and not just the users I drop the .dotm file into? |

%appdata%\Microsoft\Word\Startup
You might be able to reassign the folder location for your users so that they all point to a network location but that is really no easier than putting a local copy into their folder.

Put it in a folder and make that folder the workgroup templates folder of all the users that you want to access it.
File>Options>Advanced>File Locations>Workgroupt Templates. |

I will be back at my development computer tomorrow and will give the suggestions a try. Thank you for the responses.
