Is there VBA code to open a custom QAT when the saved word template is opened? There are updates to many other documents that are opened via the custom QAT, and if there is an update to the QAT I want to make sure everyone gets it. At this time I am unable to upload a document, but the location can be the desktop for where the UI file is located.

Additions that you make to the QAT or Ribbon of a template are present in new documents made from that template, or all documents if the template is loaded as an add-in. Either would be preferable to attempting to change the user's personal QAT/Ribbon settings (the operative word here being 'personal').

Make your ribbon/QAT changes and the macros they call available in a global add-in template and provide access to that template to the users.
