I can write code to place a text string into a textbox and control the font name and size etc. The text could be something like this "Summer Show Saturday 12th July 2014".
I have tried many things but so far have been unable to get the "th" to become a superscript.
Can anyone tell me if it is impossible so I don't waste any more time trying to do it, or is there a clever way to do it?

Thank you for your solution which I look forward to implementing. I didnt realise how closely linked these forums were and apologies for the unnecessary duplication of effort. Previously I had been working on Joomla where the forums seem disconnected so I commoinly posted a question in different places.
I appreciate your time and expertise. VBA is very new to me and its proving an interesting and challenging exercise.
I can confirm the code works beautifully. I will have to spend a lot of time understanding the coding which looks quite advanced.

The three forums in question are not linked in any way, but that is not the point. The point is that, by posting in three different forums and not letting on, people might have wasted time developing essentially the same solution someone else had already provided or, if further information was needed, people might have wasted time asking questions that had already been answered elsewhere.
