Macro for Combining Multiple Word Files Together Into One Document
Hi all,
Is there a way to combine multiple word document files into a new word document just with a simple macro? For example, I have 5 documents saved on my H drive, and they are numbered in the following manner: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Or do I have to use mail merge for this? Thanks! |

It is not quite as straightforward as you might imagine, though simpler if the documents are based on the same template. See http://www.gmayor.com/Boiler.htm
If the 'H' drive is a flash drive or similar removable media, copy the files to the hard drive FIRST.

Hello Mr. Mayor,
The files are just text--have nothing special-I think-it is a file with several multiple choice questions followed by the answer choice, and the explanations. I read about your Boiler program. I will try it. Thanks, |
