Default issue in running macro in mac

Hello dear guys in forum, I am working on a word form and in one field it asks user to enter his/her birth date and then it calculates the age automatically, it works fine in windows but when I run it on mac, it does not work, what can I do now? File is attached and thanks in advance

Best Regards

Since you're using formfields, why not use another field to do the age calculation? That would avoid the need for a macro (and macros can't be used by anyone with Word 2008, anyway). To see how to do this and just about everything else you might want to do with dates in Word, check out my Microsoft Word Date Calculation Tutorial, at:
http://windowssecrets.com/forums/sho...ation-Tutorial
or:
http://www.gmayor.com/downloads.htm#Third_party
In particular, look at the item titled 'Interactively Calculate A Person’s Age'. Do read the document's introductory material.

Thanks a lot for this valuable file, I check it, BTW I have linked some fields to each other and I have also another macro that runs whenever user fills some of fields and it seems that they work fine

In most cases, field coding can be used to manage the updating of linked fields - all you need do to ensure they're updated is to check the corresponding formfields' 'calculate on exit' property. In a similar vein to the previous link, to see how to do a wide range of calculations in Word, check out my Microsoft Word Field Maths Tutorial, at:
http://windowssecrets.com/forums/sho...Maths-Tutorial
or:
http://www.gmayor.com/downloads.htm#Third_party
Given that you're using formfields, you need to be aware of a calculation bug with them that this tutorial also discusses.

BTW: There is no code in the document in your attachment, so it's not possible to comment on any issues your code might have.

There's no code in that one either. Evidently you have the code in the document's template, not in the document...
