query returns garbage after 255 chars from a text field
strMeetDirections = myActiveRecord3.Fields("Directions")
In my Word 2007 macro, the statement above returns a certain number of normal characters, and the rest of the string looks to be in some Asian language. "Directions" is a text field in SQL Server 2008 R2. I haven't a clue why part of the result appears as garbage. Could anyone help? I would appreciate it very much. Output sample: Hotel Reservations: 1-800-WESTIN-1 (937-8461) Room Rate: $219 Single/Double (plus 16.8% hotel tax) Contact the hotel at the directly and mention ### Directors Conference to obtain the conference rate. Rates Valid: November 2-11, 2014 Reservation Deadli儀鞸ޓ䬨ޓ잔⛵ㆦ鳮凤ÿ߮얜ݡ鴻凤얜 |
