OK, that looks like it might be a corrupt document. Try creating a new one and seeing if it exhibits the same behaviour. If it doesn't that confirms the corruption. In that case, try exporting the userforms etc and reimporting them into a new document. With the code in all those subs appearing in the window, you might to just copy/paste them into Notepad, then paste from there into a new code module in the new document - the idea being to minimise the risk of exporting the corruption.

It only happens on my work PC, and from memory, it's only that particular document.

I'll investigate further when I'm back at work (next Monday), and let you know what happens (for interest, if nothing else).

Thanks to your recommendations, I've also produced a document on how to completely clear an Office installation prior to re-installation.

I'll post a copy if it works....

I tried adding a new document.
Adding a Module and an Userform yielded the same (strange) results; no grouping, with everything appearing under the Project.

It looks like the problems is with Word, which I'll try re-installing at the next convenient time.
