Hello all, pretty new into VBA and still learning a lot. I've been trying to figure out how to create a macros that references an external list of words (word,excel,.txt) and only uses it/the words as a reference to highlight those specific words in the any word excel sheet I would be using.

Example: One of my sheets contain 100s of ratios but I only want to focus on some select few. I am aware of conditional formatting but want to figure out if macros is a possibility to aid our department. So the whole thing would be to use an external list (document/sheet always in the same file path), link it to the macros ran on the "ratios" excel sheet to simply highlight the "words" specified in such external list, and focus on solely those highlighted ratios.



I am a big newbie but trying! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Again, super new to this and a little lost!
