Default Word Count [live if possible] by paragraphs (or sections)

Hello

I'm new in terms of creating macros and from what I've read that is the best option to do what I need.

I want to have a word document that counts the number of words per section.

I am gonna submit a candidacy that has many questions, each with a max word limit and my idea is to have the number os words per question i have to answer so that I know on which i can extend my self.

It would be something like

Title A ([number of words)/5000 words possible)
asnwer a has to have a lot of words till i reach the 5000 limit....

Title B ([number of words)/5000 words possible)
and so on on ...

thanks in advance!

Word can give a 'live' word count for the body of a document as a whole, but not for individual sections. If that's not showing, right-click on the status bar and choose the 'Word Count' option from the pop-up. The simplest was of getting a word count for a section/range is to select it - the count for that range will display on the status bar.

And do remember that unless you are using Section breaks, Word may have a different idea of 'sections' from what you may be thinking. But as macropod mentions if you select something (a range) you can get a word count of that.
